BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY has obtained the Accreditation Certificate as a TEMPEST manufacturer

By obtaining this certificate, BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY becomes the only private entity in Romania accredited as a TEMPEST manufacturer.

Having the Accreditation Certificate as a TEMPEST manufacturer, issued by ORNISS, we mark one of the most important stages in the process of developing and expanding our activity. The complexity and long time of the accreditation procedure reflects the company’s desire to excel and bring everything we achieve in terms of performance.

By the above-mentioned certificate we declare that S.C. BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY S.R.L. is accredited as a manufacturing entity in the field of TEMPEST, with TEMPEST evaluation capabilities. These official competencies are in accordance with the Methodology on the accreditation of entities carrying out production activities in the field of TEMPEST – INFOSEC 15.

The capacities mentioned in the certificate were evaluated both within BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY and in our own TEMPEST Laboratory for Measurements and Shielded Enclosures. The entire accreditation process was carried out under the close supervision of a specialized commission at national level.

According to the final decision submitted by the Office of the National Register of State Secret Information, through the Certificate of Accreditation as a TEMPEST manufacturer issued, we meet all the necessary requirements to be able to test and verify your equipment.

ISO 17025 – Mandatory clause for the issuance of the Accreditation Certificate as a TEMPEST manufacturer

The list of mandatory criteria included in the ORNISS certification process includes obtaining RENAR accreditation. The latter certifies that BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY, through the TEMPEST Laboratory for Measurements and Shielded Enclosures, meets the requirements of SR EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018 and is competent to perform specific activities.

Specifically, all the equipment we use in the TEMPEST testing, verification and measurement processes is calibrated at an ISO 17025 certified laboratory, at EU level. An extremely important feature, given that this unit calibration is found in few laboratories in the European Union.

The RENAR accreditation for ISO 17025 brings considerable benefits to the company to the internal activities we carry out, but especially, an opening to the international market, in the field of TEMPEST.

Launch of the Project “Research in signal filtering in the HF band and realization of an automatic switching matrix of receiving antennas for small naval vessels”

SC BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY SRL signed with the Ministry of European Funds on 31.07.2020, thus launching the implementation of the project “Research in filtering signals in the HF band and realization of a matrix of automatic switching of receiving antennas for small naval vessels” – MySMIS code 130075, corresponding to the Financing Contract with no. 60 / 221_ap2 / 31.07.2020.

The Ministry of European Funds participates as the Managing Authority for the Competitiveness Operational Program 2014-2020 / Authority for the Digitization of Romania, as the Intermediate Body for the Competitiveness Operational Program.

The general objective of the project:

The general objective of the project is integrated in increasing the general added value of the ICT sector within the company, thus contributing to the increase of the involvement of this IT branch for the economic competitiveness. Thus, BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY will develop a high-tech digital communication computer product, together with its related services.

Results:

On 30.07.2023, the completion of the project will be marked by the following results:

  • ICT equipment and specific equipment purchased and put into operation (servers, mobile workstations, switches, routers, digital signal analysis receiver, digital oscilloscope, signal generator, shielded radio signal testing camera, climate camera), software.
  • A research report (documentation and theoretical analysis) on the realization of RF band filters, written.
  • An optimal model of bandpass filters, a prototype of automatic switching arrays of receiving antennas and an integral computer system made.
  • Communications promotion services for small, nationally acquired naval craft (conference and online promotion).
  • Publishing services in journals / specialized publications of research results (3 publications).
  • Purchased and received technical and financial audit services.
  • An application for funding with annexes completed and submitted.
  • Purchased project management services, 9 pre-financing applications, 9 reimbursement applications, 3 payment applications, 11 quarterly progress reports, 9 reimbursement application reports, 1 final report submitted.
  • 2 press releases occasioning the launch and completion of the published project.
  • A billboard purchased and installed.

Co-financing:

The project is realized by co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund through the Operational Program Competitiveness 2014-2020, with a total value of RON 8,486,080.96, of which RON 4,531,364.99 represents the value of EU co-financing.

Research partnership with the Military Technical Academy

BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY is pleased to announce the signing of a research partnership with the “Ferdinand I” Military Technical Academy, an agreement that aims to develop locally innovative solutions, in the field of engineering.

This partnership recently began with a significant project among medical equipment. Together with a team of young engineers from the Academy we built a Mechanical Ventilator, in order to respond defensively to the global SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

The common interest and passion for science and research have accumulated in a fruitful collaboration, which has shown us that it can bring great technological achievements. The results were in line with the efforts made, motivated by the possibility of ameliorating a national level problem, which seriously affects the population.

“Ferdinand I” Military Technical Academy

The “Ferdinand I” Military Technical Academy is an accredited state military higher education institution, an integral part of the national education system. The fundamental objective is represented by the accomplishment of the higher education and scientific research activities in the fields of competence, in order to satisfy the needs, both of the beneficiaries from the defense, public order and national security structures, and of the personnel serving the institution.

Development of new UAV technologies

BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY concluded on Wednesday, July 1, a scientific research and development partnership together with the “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați. The parties involved are considering a long-term collaboration that will make a significant contribution to the field of innovation of modern engineering, especially the area dedicated to the development of new UAV technologies.

The design of the approached perspectives and the manifestation of the curiosity for the opportunities offered by the technological advance, simultaneously with the passion for science and knowledge, led to the identification of multiple topics of common interest. Thus, a collaboration with an innovative and topical theme was signed among the institutions with a technical profile and not only.

The most important objective of the agreement is to develop new UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) technologies, also known as drones. The range of application areas of such systems is vast and complex, these robotic aircraft being already found in multiple industries worldwide.

The specifics of the activity supported by the mentioned partnership will consist in the development of fixed wing drones. Such systems involve lifting from the ground by a launch pad, being suitable for long-distance missions, such as mapping, surveillance and defense, where resistance is an important factor.

Through this collaboration, BlueSpace TECHNOLOGY together with the “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați will materialize an initiative dedicated to innovation and technological progress, both for partners and especially for the local research, development and implementation industry.
