Constantin Pintilie joined key figures in the discussion, including Vasile Dâncu, MEP and former Minister of National Defense; Adrian Mihai Cioroianu, former Minister of Foreign Affairs; General (Rtd.) Virgil Bălăceanu, President of the Reserve Officers Association; Georgian Pop, President of the National Administration of State Reserves and Special Issues; and Radu Magdin, CEO of Smartlink Communications.
“It is absolutely necessary for a portion of the budget allocated to the Army to be directed toward developing Romanian-made products and solutions, manufactured by domestic companies. We need to reform the state defense industry and its operational approach. Trust must be placed in what can be produced within the country,” emphasized BlueSpace Technology’s founder.
He also outlined concrete solutions that could decisively accelerate change:
“From my perspective as a Romanian entrepreneur, the President of Romania should act as a catalyst—a force aligning applied research to develop advanced technologies, public procurement to secure strategic resources, and the state and private defense industries to ensure industrial independence.”
